"We dropped in here today after a walk around the nearby woodlands. Not sure what to expect but were delighted by the warm country reception we received from the lovely owners, a young girl and her Mother. Were even more delighted with the large chicken schnitzel, mushroom gravy and fresh garden salad we ordered. Potato wedges were also great and really surprised with the cappuccino - it was fantastic! All the while the owners chatted to us between serving. A very relaxing and pleasant place to visit with a great country vibe."

"We stopped here for breakfast on our way back to Melbourne. The owner was very nice and sensible. She asked our preference in a very detailed and careful way, like vegetarian equivalent or hard/soft boiled egg. The price was very reasonable, and the arrangement is that you will sit in a farm, underneath the vines, surrounded with chickens and geese. Overall a nice experience that I would happy to have again on the way to Adelaide."

"Cute little spot tucked away in Callington... peaceful garden setting and a cosy old cottage vibe. The coffee’s pretty decent and the homemade pies hit the spot. Staff were friendly and welcoming, though service can be a bit slow if it’s busy. Not a place to rush through... better if you’ve got time to chill and enjoy the atmosphere."

"The sign said take away only but they cleaned up an outdoor table for us. I had beef and mushroom pie and a sausage roll. The pie is chunky mushrooms and mince in glazed puff pastry, home made, with unique seasoning. Soft drink selection is quite good, Mountain Fresh and Bundaberg ranges are there. Nice place - no river views though."

"We came to the cafe for a late lunch after our visit in Monarto zoo. It’s a charming family cafe with delightful homemade organic food. The owner and her daughter are exceptionally friendly and engaging. After our meal, she graciously showed us her ducks and chickens in the yard. My children were so interest to see these pets. We couldn't resist purchasing the fresh, organic peaches and plums at such reasonable prices. Thank you for providing such wonderful country-style cuisine with a focus on quality. We look forward to visiting again."
